Safety Services. AMS shall be responsible for all safety issues and activities relating to operation of the Business, in accordance with applicable industry standards, best management practices, all Environmental Requirements, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Standards.
Safety Services. The CITY will continue to employ sufficient personnel to operate Station No. 2 in such a manner as to provide service to its first call area on a full-time basis. Personnel at Station No. 2 will: a. Provide fire protection, emergency medical, and hazardous materials response services; b. Upon reasonable request of MSU, provide International Fire Code inspections and other fire prevention activities, including staff training, escape routes, drill procedures, facility and equipment recommendations, facility pre- planning tours and similar activities on campus; and c. Safety Services. Administrator shall furnish at a minimum one, dedicated construction safety professional and other resources as necessary to achieve the following duties: a. Within two (2) months of the contract award and as part of the ROCIP Structure and Process Assessment, the Administrator shall conduct an evaluation of the current FPC Safety Specification, policies, procedures, and programs, and prepare a report to suggest detailed specific changes to improve the effectiveness of the safety process and claim management portions of the ROCIP program for the A&M System’s review and approval. b. Within one (1) month of start of construction activities, Administrator shall attend the Controlling Contractor’s site safety orientation and offer any constructive feedback that could improve the delivery or content of the Controlling Contractor’s message to workers. Any deviation to this requirement subject to acceptance by System Risk Management. c. Administrator shall coordinate with the designated FPC representative the scheduling of job-site safety inspections by dedicated safety professionals for the Administrator and the Insurance Carrier. Scheduling shall assure a minimum of at least ten (10) work days between inspection visits for each project. Inspections shall consist of: i. Review of required pre-plans, training documentation and any other documents relevant to the work under construction. ii. Physical inspection of the active portions of the site with the Controlling Contractor’s Project Safety Coordinator (PSC) and/or Project Safety Assistant (PSA) representative and the Owner’s Construction Inspector (as available); iii. Preparation of a project safety inspection report entered into safety condition/observation database as selected by the A&M System; iv. Prior to leaving the site, conduct a post-inspection meeting with the Controlling Contractor representative to review any deficiencies, establish responsibilities and target dates for acceptable corrections; v. Any other mutually agreed upon services.

These services can roughly be grouped in the two categories of (1) the Monitoring/Tracking services to detect a situation to which the system should react to, and (2) the Alert/Notification/Warning services to attend to the user to communicate and fulfil the safety needs.

  • Security Services CONTRACTOR shall provide security services designed for preventing escapes, maintaining order, providing care, custody, control, supervision and management of the inmate population. A successful security program depends heavily on staff training, effective administration, and the establishment of inmate programs. The organization, staffing, and administration of the security program are vital to the Facility. The direction provided by a well-organized and clearly articulated operations manual, and emergency planning provides a solid base for successful administration. The final operations manual shall be submitted to the Bureau prior to the Service Commencement Date and shall be reviewed annually and updated as needed. Documentation of the review shall be provided annually to the On- Site Contract Monitor. Changes to the plan require written permission by the Contract Manager. The Department reserves the right to require changes to plans submitted to the Bureau.
