Common use of Salary During Week of First Preview Clause in Contracts

Salary During Week of First Preview. During the week that contains the first paid public performance, Stage Manager or Actor shall receive 1/6th of rehearsal salary for each day of rehearsal. They shall also receive 1/8th of contractual salary for each performance given during this week. In no case may Actor receive less than minimum weekly salary. Should a full day off be given for the week containing the first paid public performance (see rule 57(C)(6)), salary for the week containing the first paid public performance will not exceed weekly contractual salary, not including overtime and/or penalty payments.
