No Lockouts or Strikes. The Union agrees that there will be no strike and the Employer agrees that there will be no lockout so long as this Agreement continues to operate. The meaning of the words "strike" and "lockout" shall be as defined in the Ontario Labour Relations Act.
No Lockouts or Strikes. The parties agree that there shall be no lockouts, strikes, slow downs or other stoppages of, or interference with work, which would cause any interruption of service during the life of this agreement. No Lockouts or Strikes. (A) Notwithstanding any other provisions contained in this Agreement to the contrary, no Actor shall be subject to discharge, discipline, or replacement by the Producer:
(1) For refusal to cross a picket line or enter upon the picketed premises if employees of the Producer other than those covered by this Agreement are on strike or are picketing the Producer; or
(2) For refusal to cross a picket line or enter upon the premises of an employer other than the Producer if the employees of such employer are engaged in a strike ratified by a representative of such employees, which such employer is required by law to recognize; provided, however, that in either instance, such strike or picketing must enjoy the sanction of and be ratified by the relevant parent national or international union and provided further that the Council of Equity endorses and supports the strike or picketing and directs its members to honor such picketing or strike, and further provided that the strike or picketing is not in violation of law.
(B) The Producer shall not lockout any of the Actors, and neither the Actors nor Equity shall call, sanction, or participate in a strike during the period of this Agreement except as provided above. In no event shall any Actor be required to perform, or to enter the theatre for such purpose, if such performance or entrance would endanger the Actor's safety.
(C) Should a strike by the Actors occur during the period of this Agreement, Equity shall be deemed not to have violated the terms of this Rule if Equity refrains from assisting, encouraging, or condoning and in good faith takes every reasonable means to terminate the strike at once, and in addition thereto, promptly declares publicly that the strike is unauthorized and directs the Actors to cease such conduct.
(D) The provisions of this Rule shall not be deemed to effect the express rights of Equity or the Actor under Rule 9, BREACHES BY PRODUCER, Rule 18, DEFAULTING EMPLOYERS, or Rule 48, PRODUCTION PROSECUTED.

(C) The provisions of this Rule shall not be deemed to affect the express rights of Equity or the Actor under Rules 8, 15, or 51.
No Lockouts or Strikes. No lockout of employees shall be instituted by the District during the term of this agreement as a result of a dispute with the union arising out of the terms of this Agreement. Neither the Union nor any of its officers, employees or agents, will instigate, promote, condone or engage in any strike against the District of any kind. No slowdown, sit-down, picketing, concerted mass absenteeism, or other concerted interference with or interruption of the services provided by the District shall occur at any time. The Union agrees to inform employees of their obligations under this Agreement and will direct the employees to cease and desist from any form of striking identified in this Agreement. Any or all employees who violate any of the provisions of this Section may be disciplined up to and including discharge by the District. Nothing herein shall be construed to limit the right of the Union to engage in informational picketing or other concerted activity.
No Lockouts or Strikes. The Employer agrees that it will not cause or direct any lockouts of its employees, and the Union agrees that there will be no strike or other collective action. In the event of a picket line being established by another organization, the Employer will not penalize employees who, due to conditions beyond the employee’s control, cannot safely cross such picket lines.
No Lockouts or Strikes. 7.01 The parties acknowledge that this bargaining unit is under the jurisdiction of the Hospital Labour Disputes Arbitration Act; as a result, there shall be no strikes or lockouts in respect of this bargaining unit. Employees are not required to cross picket lines except to perform duties relative to System operation and the maintenance of service to equipment within the Corporation’s jurisdiction and under no circumstances will an employee be required to force a crossing of a picket line.

No Lockouts or Strikes. The Union agrees that during the term of this Agreement there shall be no strikes, walkouts or other cessation of work by the Union or its members. The Company agrees that there shall be no lockouts of the Union or its members during the term of this Agreement. All grievances and disputes shall be adjusted as stated herein.

The City agrees and recognizes the Canadian Union of Public Employees as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for all office staff employees of the City of save and except the Chief Administrative Officer, Director of Financial Services, City Clerk, Director of Engineering and Public Works, Director of Social and Family Services, Director of Parks and Recreation, Director of Planning, Director of Building and Maintenance, Director of Personnel and Labour Relations, Solicitor, Deputy Director of Financial Services, Deputy Director of Public Works and Engineering, Assistant Engineer, Public Works Superintendent, Deputy Director of Parks and Recreation, Development Officer, Personnel Officer, Safety Officer, Community Building Manager, Administrator of the Golden Manor, Assistant to the Administrator of the Golden Manor, Supervisor of Programs, Chief Water Plant Operator, Deputy City Clerk, By-law Enforcement Officer, Deputy Director of Social and Family Services, Executive Officer, Special Projects Officer, Chief Accountant, Cemetery Manager, Secretary to the Director of Personnel and Labour Relations, City Administrator's Secretary, Personnel Officer's Secretary, Secretary to the Executive Officer, Mayor's Secretary, Secretary to the City Solicitor, Clerk Analyst (Personnel), Program Supervisor (Museum), Senior Planner, Cook (Cafeteria City Hall), Assistant Food Supervisor Employee Health Nurse, Recreation Assistants, Database Administrator, Network Analyst, Parking Control Supervisor, Personnel Clerk, Foremen, persons above the rank of Foremen, Parks and Recreation and Public Works personnel and hereby consents and agrees to negotiations with the Union, or any of its authorized committees, concerning all matters affecting the relationship between the parties to this Agreement, looking towards a peaceful and amicable settlement of any differencesthat may arise between them.
