Common use of Salary Upon Reinstatement or Reemployment Clause in Contracts

Salary Upon Reinstatement or Reemployment. If a former employee is reemployed or reinstated into a class in which that employee was previously employed, the Agency may make an appointment at the same rate of pay the employee had been receiving at the time of separation from State service and/or the class, plus any automatic adjustments that may have been made since the employee left State service and/or the class. Appointments above such rate of pay must be approved by the Commissioner of Minnesota Management & Budget before they can take effect.
