SANITARY, HEALTH, AND SAFETY PROVISIONS. 7.16.1 The Contractor shall provide and maintain in a neat, sanitary condition such accommodations for the use of its employees as may be necessary to comply with the requirements of the State and local boards of health, or other bodies or tribunals having jurisdiction. Unless otherwise stated in the drawings or specifications, the Contractor shall install toilet facilities conveniently located at the job site and maintain same in a neat and sanitary condition for the use of the employees on the job site for the duration of the Contract. The toilet facilities shall conform to the requirements of the State Department of Health. The cost of installing, maintaining and removing the toilet facilities shall be considered incidental to and paid for under various contract pay items for work or under the lump sum bids as the case may be, and no additional compensation will be made therefor. These requirements shall not modify or abrogate in any way the requirements or regulations of the State Department of Health. 7.16.2 Attention is directed to Federal, State and local laws, rules and regulations concerning construction safety and health standards. The Contractor shall not require any worker to work in surroundings or under conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous or dangerous to their health or safety.
