SANITARY SEWER LATERAL COMPLIANCE. All Properties serviced by the West County Wastewater District (“WCWD”) must have a video inspection of the sewer lateral prior to the Close of Escrow unless there is a Certificate of Compliance on file with the WCWD. The WCWD requires that all sewer lateral repairs must be completed prior to Close of Escrow unless the Seller has applied for and has been approved for a hardship deferral. Only the Seller is allowed to apply for the hardship deferral. The current WCWD policy is that if the home has previously been sold since 2008 without obtaining WCWD compliance, then no hardship deferral will be granted.
