SAVINGS AND SEVERABILITY. Section 1. It is not the intention of either the Contractor or the Union parties to violate any laws governing the subject matter of this PLA. The Parties hereto agree that in the event any provisions of the PLA are finally held or determined to be illegal or void as being in contravention of any applicable law, the remainder of the PLA shall remain in full force and effect unless the part or parts so found to be void are wholly inseparable from the remaining portions of this PLA. Section 2. The occurrence of events covered by Sections 1 above shall not be construed to waive the work stoppage prohibitions of Article 6.
