Pay Status An aggrieved employee and the Union Delegate shall be in a pay status during those working hours in which a grievance, a grievance mediation, or an arbitration hearing is held. Release time for additional employee representation shall be subject to approval by the Labor Relations Officer or designee when a group grievance is filed.

Change in Status In the event of any substantive change in its legal status, organizational structure, or fiscal reporting responsibility, Contractor will notify HCA of the change. Contractor must provide notice as soon as practicable, but no later than thirty (30) calendar days after such a change takes effect.
Employee Status For purposes of determining the applicability of Section 422 of the Code (relating to Incentive Stock Options), or in the event that the terms of any Grant provide that it may be exercised only during employment or within a specified period of time after termination of employment, the Committee may decide to what extent leaves of absence for governmental or military service, illness, temporary Disability, or other reasons shall not be deemed interruptions of continuous employment.
Emeritus Status Emeritus designation shall be bestowed upon a retiring member of the full-time faculty upon recommendation of the department and approval by the President. Emeriti shall be afforded at least the following privileges: desk space if available, university computer account, library privileges, catalog listing, a printed certificate, professional use of the title, invitations to university functions, course privileges available pursuant to Article 13.13, faculty parking privileges and inclusion on the mailing lists for all university publications.
Regular Status Appointments to regular status are contingent on satisfactorily meeting the Company’s medical requirements.
Retention of Status An employee on approved paid or unpaid leave will retain her/his employment status for the duration of the leave.
DEFINITION OF EMPLOYEE STATUS 8.01 The status of all employees covered by this agreement shall be defined under one of the following three definitions.
Increases in FTE Status A part-time teacher seeking to increase their assignment to full-time for the following school year shall, by no later than February 28, 2016, notify the Board in writing in accordance with the procedures of the Board. Subsequent to any local transfer and placement procedures but prior to offering permanent vacancies to members of the occasional bargaining unit or to external hires, the Board shall first offer permanent vacancies to qualified part time teachers who have indicated an interest in a full-time assignment in accordance with this article. A part time teacher moving to a full time assignment may select, by seniority, from available openings for which they are qualified, consistent with the practices, needs and schedules of the Board and its schools. Approval of the teacher selection shall not be unreasonably denied. During the pilot period, any concerns may be raised at the joint board level staffing committee.
Restriction of Employee Status The status of all employees covered by this Agreement shall be defined under one of the preceding three (3) definitions. If a dispute arises over the proper allocation of employee status, such dispute shall be resolved through Article 9.04
