School Crossing Guards. A permanent part-time School Crossing Guard shall be paid a minimum of one (1) hour show up pay for each a.m. or p.m. shift he/she reports for summer school assignments.
School Crossing Guards a. The District will provide rainwear consisting of a hooded poncho.
School Crossing Guards. School Crossing Guards shall be entitled to all the provisions of this Contract except as modified below:
A. The City will provide each school crossing guard with a work uniform as determined and defined by the Ocean City Police Chief.
B. Each school crossing guard shall receive six and one-quarter (6¼) sick leave days per school year, which shall be accumulated without maximum limitation from year to year. For purposes of this sub-section, a school year shall consist of two contiguous semesters.
C. The City will contribute to the New Jersey Public Employee Retirement System those amounts statutorily mandated for each of the crossing guards.
D. The City shall provide to the four (4) regular crossing guards health benefits to include hospitalization, medical treatment, major medical, surgical fees and office
School Crossing Guards. School Crossing Guards shall receive these six and one-half paid holidays, per year: Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx, Xx. Birthday, Washington’s Birthday, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Election Day and a half-day to be selected by the Commissioner of Public Safety. Employees who have completed three or more years of service for the City as School Crossing Guards shall receive Thanksgiving Day as an additional paid holiday for a total of seven and one-half paid holidays.
School Crossing Guards. Requests for changes in leave benefits will be considered by the leave committee. Employees will be issued a new sweater.
School Crossing Guards. Notwithstanding any previous practice or contract language to the contrary, school crossing guards who are regularly scheduled to work at least ten (10) hours per week shall receive full rather than prorated longevity.
School Crossing Guards. A. Effective January 1, 2007, each step of the salary schedule in effect shall reflect a four (4%) percent increase, and any employee due an increment shall advance accordingly.
B. Effective January 1, 2008, each step of the salary schedule in effect shall reflect a four (4%) percent increase, and any employee due an increment shall advance accordingly.
C. Effective January 1, 2009, each step of the salary schedule in effect shall reflect a three and one-half (3.5%) percent increase, and any employee due an increment shall advance accordingly.
D. Effective January 1, 2010, each step of the salary schedule in effect shall reflect a three and one-half (3.5%) percent increase, and any employee due an increment shall advance accordingly.
E. Crossing guards must serve in their positions six (6) months in the fiscal year they are hired in order to move to Step 2 on January 1 of the following fiscal year.
F. The City shall fill vacancies in the permanent positions from the temporary roster.
School Crossing Guards. See Section 1 (D) above.
School Crossing Guards. The City shall continue to provide health and dental insurance, and if they receive it, optical insurance as well, for those employed school crossing guards on the payroll as of November 4, 1992, at the same rate and under the same conditions as it provides to full- time employees in the bargaining unit.
School Crossing Guards. ACTION LABOR shall provide the school crossing guard and supervisory services necessary to satisfy the requirements of the CITY OF BEACH school crossing guard program. ACTION LABOR shall provide the following minimum personnel, at the locations and during the time herein described, for the consideration hereinafter set forth:
(a) of guards and rate-12 guards $1 1.75 Xxx XXXX XX XXXXXXXXXX XXXXX reserves the right to require more or less personnel crossing guard services upon (3) days' written notice, specifying its needs. Schedule and locations of services are described in Exhibit A.
