Safety Meetings. As determined necessary by the University, employees will participate in safety meetings. There will be at least one designated Employee representative on their unit safety committee.
1. Safety meetings will be utilized to communicate safety related information, provide training, to discuss issues relating to the campus-wide safety program; review safety and health inspection reports to help correct safety hazards; evaluate the accident investigations conducted since the last meeting to determine if the cause(s) of the unsafe situation was identified and corrected; evaluate the workplace accident and illness prevention program and discuss recommendations for improvement, if needed; bring forward safety items of concern; document attendance; and write down subjects discussed.
2. Attendance at safety meetings will be considered time worked.
Safety Meetings. Safety meetings that are ordered outside ordinary working hours are to be compensated for by overtime payment for the time used.
Safety Meetings. Safety meetings shall be held in accordance with State CAL-OSHA requirements.
Safety Meetings. Safety meetings will be organized on a Branch, Division or building basis as appropriate. Safety meetings will be scheduled at least once every three (3) months. All employees will be expected to participate.

Safety Meetings. Safety meetings will be held during working hours at a time mutually agreed upon. Employees' time will not be deducted for attending such meetings or investigations into accidents.
Safety Meetings. The University shall conduct monthly safety meetings for all Local 6070 Bargaining Unit Members for the general unit or by shop. Local 6070 Bargaining Unit Members may occasionally facilitate safety meetings. Supervisors will review meeting summary, provide feedback to Local 6070 Bargaining Unit Members and take action as appropriate. A written summary of the meetings shall be kept, showing concerns, participants, actions taken and recommendations made and shall be sent to the Local 6070 Union field office on request. Time spent in meetings shall be considered work time.
Safety Meetings. At a minimum, Contractor shall conduct daily “tail gate” safety meetings with each work crew to review workplace safety and proper work practices.
Safety Meetings. For the duration of the Construction Period and the Operating Period, the Contractor shall conduct safety meetings prior to the commencement of any work on each major work phase of the Project and the O&M, or monthly, whichever occurs more frequently. The Contractor shall invite the Province to send a representative to attend such safety meetings and shall give reasonable advance notice of such meetings.
