School-Home Connection. 2.K.1 Students must not receive a failing grade (“F”) or an unsatisfactory (“U”) citizenship mark without having exhausted all means of communication (i.e. phone calls, notes sent home, use of the social worker for home visits, and email) with parents first to address any academic or behavioral deficiencies.
