Common use of Scrapped Material Clause in Contracts

Scrapped Material. The Buyer shall retain any defective Warranted Part beyond economic repair and any defective part removed from a Warranted Part during repair for a period of [***] after submission of a claim for Inhouse Warranty credit relating thereto, whichever is longer. Such parts shall be returned to the Seller [***] of the Seller’s request to that effect. [***] This information is subject to confidential treatment and has been omitted and filled separately with the commission. CSN - A350XWB - Clause 12 Privileged and Confidential Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Buyer may scrap any such defective parts, which are beyond economic repair and not required for technical evaluation locally, with the agreement of the Seller Representative(s).
