Screening and Assessment. 1. Comply with all rules in the TAC, Title 25, Part 1, Chapter 229, Subchapter X. 2. Utilize the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders – V (DSM-V) criteria for a substance use disorder to determine Client diagnosis. 3. When conducting a CMBHS Substance Use Disorder screening, Grantee shall conduct the screening in a confidential, face-to-face interview unless there is documented justification for an interview by phone. 4. Conduct and document a CMBHS Substance Use Disorder Initial Assessment, and GPRA as directed by System Agency, with the Client. The CMBHS assessment will identify the impact of substances on the physical, mental health and other identified physical health issues including tuberculosis, Hepatitis B and C, sexually transmitted disease (STD and Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)).
