Screening and Testing of Applicants. a) The Police Chief will develop and implement the screening and testing procedures used to determine whether an applicant will be offered a position as a police cadet in a Police Academy class. The screening and testing procedures will include, at a minimum, a structured Oral Interview Board and a background investigation. Nothing in this AGREEMENT or in Chapter 143 will restrict the nature of the tests administered to applicants or the procedures used to administer those tests.
