SECONDMENT ALLOWANCE Sample Clauses
A Secondment Allowance clause defines the additional compensation or benefits provided to an employee who is temporarily assigned to work at a different location or for another entity within the organization. This clause typically outlines the amount or method of calculation for the allowance, the duration for which it is payable, and any conditions or exclusions that apply, such as eligibility criteria or adjustments for cost-of-living differences. Its core practical function is to ensure that employees are fairly compensated for the potential inconveniences or increased expenses associated with a secondment, thereby facilitating smooth temporary transfers and maintaining employee satisfaction.
