Common use of Section 21.01 - Mutual Responsibility Clause in Contracts

Section 21.01 - Mutual Responsibility. It shall be the policy of the Employer to provide for the safety of its employees by providing safe working conditions, safe work areas and safe work methods. Employees shall have the responsibility to use all provided safety equipment and procedures in their daily work, shall cooperate in all safety and accident prevention programs, and shall diligently observe all safety rules promulgated by the Employer. Upon the request of either Party, but not more frequently than once each calendar month, the Association and the Employer shall meet and confer relative to health and safety matters.
