Section 3. Work Areas. The Appointing Authority may define and/or redefine work areas 27 provided that such work areas are based upon reasonable staffing and/or operational needs of the 1 Appointing Authority and do not unreasonably diminish the bidding rights of employees. Upon 2 request, the Appointing Authority will provide to the Local Union a list of current work areas.
