SECTOR SPECIFIC EXEMPTIONS. As referenced in §4.0 of this Agreement all Sectors are granted the 26 following Universal Exemptions. 27 21.1 Exemption from trip limits on stocks for which a sector receives an allocation, except for 28 the following: 29 21.1.1 Halibut: Trip Limit continues to be one fish per trip 30 21.1.2 No vessels is allowed to possess any windowpane flounder, ocean pout or wolfish 31 onboard at any time. When caught these species must be discarded. 32 21.2 Exemption from the Gulf of Maine Cod Protection Closures IV and V. 33 21.3 Exemption from groundfish DAS requirements other than those required to comply with 34 effort controls in other fisheries. 35 21.4 Exemption from the requirement to use 6.5 inch mesh in the codend in xxxxxxx 36 separator trawl/Xxxxx trawl when targeting xxxxxxx in the Georges Bank Regulated 37 Mesh Area to use 6 inch mesh in the codend. 38 1 In addition to the Universal Exemptions granted to all Sectors, as referenced above and in §4.0 of 2 this Agreement, Members agree to abide by the following obligations as specified and 3 authorized in their LOA, in order to utilize these Sector Specific Exemptions.
