From all or a portion of ASM coverage if the vessel is fishing on a monkfish DAS with extra‐large extra-large mesh gillnets (10‐inch 10-inch or greater mesh) exclusively in Inshore Georges Bank and/or Southern New England. 35 In addition to the Universal Exemptions granted to all Sectors, as referenced above and in §4.0 of 36 this Agreement, Members agree to abide by the following obligations as specified and 37 authorized in their LOA, in order to utilize these Sector Specific Exemptions. NE multispecies (DAS) requirements to persecute other fisheries as 24 specified in §§ 648.92 and 648.32, 2 such as monkfish and skate continue to apply. .
25 21.1.1 Exemption from trip limits on NE multispecies stocks, except Atlantic halibut, 26 windowpane flounder, ocean pout and Atlantic wolffish,
27 21.1.2 Halibut: Trip limit continues to be one fish per trip
28 21.1.3 No vessel, whether in the Common Pool or in a Sector, are allowed to possess 29 any windowpane flounder (both southern and northern), ocean pout, or wolfish 30 onboard at any time. When caught, these species must be discarded.
31 21.2 Exemption from the Georges Bank Seasonal closure in May. .
