Selection and Compensation of the Monitor. 327. Within two months of the Effective Date, or additional time if agreed to by the Parties, the City and DOJ shall together select a Monitoring Team, acceptable to both, which shall assess and report on the implementation of this Agreement. The Parties have agreed to use an open Request for Information process in selecting the Monitoring Team. This process shall be implemented in a manner consistent with this Agreement, including the requirement that the Monitoring Team be jointly selected and acceptable to both DOJ and the City. The Parties’ Monitoring Team selection shall be subject to the approval of the Court. The Monitoring Team shall consist of individuals of the highest ethics.
