Team Selection. Team Selection: The Upper School teams are primarily made up of students from 9-12th grade. Students that have reached the seventh grade may play “lifetime sports” and on Junior Varsity teams, while students who have reached the eighth may participate on Varsity teams provided their talents meet that level of merit and the coach feels they will contribute and participate in a meaningful manner. There are limits to the time available to make these selections depending on the season and other non-athletic factors that may be involved. However, every effort is made to give each child strong consideration prior to making selections for each team. Due to several factors (ie: number of teams in the league, availability of certified officials, and availability of facilities), different teams’ schedules may vary.
