Selection of New Academic Employees. Academic employee vacancies shall be filled in accordance with the College's Policies, Regulations, Affirmative Action Policy and Plan, and the nondiscrimination provision of this Agreement. Position requirements will place the highest priority on addressing student needs and will include an expectation for advancing department, division, and institutional strategic goals which include increasing the diversity of our instructional faculty.
