Common use of SELECTION OF WINNER Clause in Contracts

SELECTION OF WINNER. One (1) Winner (the “Winner”) will be chosen at random from among all eligible Entries received during the Sweepstakes Period (the “Drawing”) by a representative of Sponsor or the Houston Rockets, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to the Drawing and this Sweepstakes. The Winner will be notified on or about March 21, 2018. If any such Winner cannot be contacted or declines the Prize, then such Winner will forfeit the right to be the Winner, and Sponsor and/or the Houston Rockets may select a replacement Winner from among all remaining eligible Entries. By participating, each Entrant agrees to these rules and the decisions of Sponsor and/or the Houston Rockets, which shall be final and legally binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. The Houston Rockets and Sponsor reserve the right to conduct a background check of each Entrant and to disqualify any Entrant, effective upon written notice, if such Entrant commits, or has at any time committed, any act or becomes involved in, or has at any time been involved in, any situation or occurrence which act, situation or occurrence tends in the sole opinion of the Houston Rockets to subject Entrant, Sponsor or the Houston Rockets to any ridicule, contempt or scandal or which, in the sole opinion of the Houston Rockets, reflects unfavorably upon Sponsor or the Houston Rockets.

SELECTION OF WINNER. One (1) Winner winning Nominee (the “Winner”) will be chosen selected at random from among all eligible Entries received during the Sweepstakes Period (the “Drawing”) by a representative of Sponsor or the Houston Rockets, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to the Drawing and this Sweepstakesreceived. If any potential winning Entrant cannot be contacted after the first attempt, or if such Entrant or winning Nominee declines the Prize, or fails to pick up the Prize, then the right to be a Winner shall be forfeited, and the Houston Rockets may select a replacement Winner from among all remaining eligible Entries.

If any such Winner cannot be contacted or declines the Prize2021, then such Winner will forfeit the right to be the Winner, and Sponsor and/or the Houston Rockets may select a replacement Winner from among all remaining eligible Entriesvia email. By participating, each Entrant agrees to these rules and the decisions of Sponsor and/or the Houston RocketsRockets and Sponsor, which shall be final and legally binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. If any potential Winner cannot be contacted after the first attempt, refuses to sign and return any documentation required by Sponsor within the required time period (if applicable), declines the Prize, or fails to pick up the Prize, then such Winner will forfeit the right to be a Winner, and the Houston Rockets may select a replacement Winner from among all remaining eligible Entries. An alternate potential winner is subject to all requirements set forth in these Official Rules.
