Common use of Self-Representation Clause in Contracts

Self-Representation. In the event a grievant elects to file and proceed without Association representation, he/she may do so through the first two (2) steps of the procedure only, provided that the Association is present at every meeting or conference in order to protect its contract rights, and further provided that copies of the grievance, appeals and responses are given to the President in a timely fashion.
