Common use of Self-Representation Clause in Contracts

Self-Representation. A LUC-AAUP representative shall be permitted to represent the grievant and, in any event, to represent and speak on behalf of XXX-XXXX’s particular point of interest in connection with the grievance. In this regard, it is understood that the grievant has the right to represent himself and that XXX-XXXX shall not interfere with that right.
