SERVICE CREDIT REQUIRED BY FEDERAL LAW. An Employee will be granted credit for Eligibility Service and Vesting Service for time he is not actively performing services for an Affiliated Employer to the extent required under federal law. An Employee will be granted credit for Eligibility Service and Vesting Service for services performed for a predecessor employer to the extent required by section 414(a) of the Code and Regulations issued thereunder.
