Service Credit Required by Law. An Employee will be granted credit for Active Service for time he is not actively performing services for an Affiliated Employer to the extent required under federal law. An Employee will be granted credit for Active Service for services performed for a predecessor employer to the extent required by section 414(a) of the Code and Regulations issued thereunder.
