Entitlement to Vacation Leave With Pay. An employee is entitled to vacation leave with pay to the extent of his earned credits but an employee who has completed six (6) months of continuous employment may receive an advance of credits equivalent to the anticipated credits for the vacation year.
Entitlement to Vacation Leave With Pay. (a) An employee is entitled to vacation leave with pay to the extent of his/her earned credits but an employee who has completed six (6) calendar months of employment may receive an advance of credits equivalent to the anticipated credits for the fiscal year concerned.
(b) In the event of the termination of employment for reasons other than death or lay-off the Council shall recover from any monies owed the employee, an amount equivalent to unearned vacation leave taken by the employee, calculated on the basis of the rate of pay applicable to his/her classification on the date of termination.

Scheduling of Vacation Leave With Pay Employees are expected to take all their vacation leave during the vacation year in which it is earned. The Employer shall, subject to the operational requirements of the service, make every reasonable effort to: schedule an employee's vacation leave in the vacation year in which it is earned; schedule the employee's vacation leave with pay for at least two (2) consecutive weeks, during the period requested, provided written notice of the period requested is given by the employee as soon as possible after April but not later than May schedule the employee's vacation leave with pay on any other basis than that specified in if the employee gives the Employer at least five (5) days' advance written notice for requests of vacation leave with pay of five (5) days or less. Upon request from the employee, the Employer may for good and sufficient reason schedule vacation leave with pay on shorter notice than that specified in clauses and leave. The Employer shall give an employee as much notice in writing as is practicable and reasonable of approval, disapproval or cancellation of a request for vacation leave. In the case of disapproval, alteration or cancellation of such leave, the Employer shall give the written reason therefore, upon written request from the employee. Where, in respect of any period of vacation leave with pay, an employee is granted: bereavement leave, or leave with pay because of illness in the immediate family, or sick leave on production of a medical certificate, the period of vacation leave with pay so displaced shall either be added to the vacation period if requested by the employee and approved by the Employer or reinstated for use at a later date.

An is entitled to vacation with pay to extent of his earned credits but an employee who has Public Service Alliance of Canada completed six ( 6 ) months of continuous service receive an advance of credits equivalent to anticipated credits for the vacation year.
Entitlement to Vacation Leave With Pay. An employee earns but is not entitled to receive vacation leave with pay during the employee's first three (3) months of continuous employment. If, at the end of a vacation year, an employee's entitlement to vacation leave with pay includes a fractional entitlement of less or more than one-half day, the entitlement shall be increased to the nearest half day. (a) Employees are expected to take all their vacation leave during the vacation year in which it is earned.
(b) In order to maintain operational requirements, the Employer reserves the right to schedule an employee’s vacation leave but shall make every reasonable effort:
(i) to provide an employee’s vacation leave in an amount and at such time as he/she may request;
(ii) not to recall an employee to duty after he/she has proceeded on vacation leave.
Entitlement to Vacation Leave With Pay. Provided that an employee has completed six (6) months of continuous service, the employee may be granted vacation leave in advance to the extent of the credits that he or she will earn during the fiscal year in which the leave is granted. Notwithstanding the foregoing, an employee earns but is not entitled to receive, vacation leave with pay during the first six (6) months of continuous employment.
