Common use of Service Letters Clause in Contracts

Service Letters. 20.1 Persons entering the service of the Railway will, within thirty (30) days from the date of employment, have returned to them all service cards and letters of recommendation which had been taken up for inspection by the Railway, except those addressed to or issued by the Railway. 20.2 An employee who is dismissed or leaves the service of his/her own accord after giving due notice will, upon request, be given the usual certificate of service and will be paid as soon as possible.
