Severance Pay Options Upon Layoff. An employee who is displaced and/or laid off pursuant to Article 39 and who is thus eligible for severance pay under this Article shall be accorded the following options: (a) accept full severance pay at the time of the layoff; or (b) accept severance pay in bi-weekly installments; or (c) accept severance pay in full at any time during or at the conclusion of the recall period as defined in Article 39.
