Common use of Shared Interconnection and Infrastructure Clause in Contracts

Shared Interconnection and Infrastructure. QFs otherwise meeting the above-described separate ownership test and thereby qualified for entitlement to the standard rates and standard contract will not be disqualified by utilizing an interconnection or other infrastructure not providing motive force or fuel that is shared with other QFs qualifying for the standard rates and standard contract so long as the use of the shared interconnection complies with the interconnecting utility’s safety and reliability standards, interconnection contract requirements and Prudent Electrical Practices as that term is defined in the interconnecting utility’s approved standard contract.
