Shift Worker. An employee whose regularly scheduled hours and days of work are rotated to provide coverage for a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week, 365 days-a-year operation. This includes specific employees at the Water Reclamation and Water Purification Divisions that work in facilities requiring around-the-clock coverage.
