Shops approach. Context: The shopkeepers association want to answer the need and demand from their customers and contribute to the local economic development of the city. They participate in a local economic project funded by the government and want to develop more actions in the field of sustainable activities or approaches. This approach is more difficult to tackle for us and it is ongoing. We have less detail than for the others. Stakeholders: • Shopkeepers members of „Vita’ Ville” association: 300 members in Annecy Region (▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ opticien, ▇▇▇▇▇▇ vêtement, Café Grand, La Poste etc.) • Annecy Municipality: ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ • CCI Annecy • A collaborative work with local shops associations is planned with „Vita Ville” (Live your City). • Shopkeepers association from Vallée de l’Arve (location very popular among tourists). • Chamonix Mont Blanc group of municipalities representative. Calendar: Contact with Annecy municipality Vallée de l’Arve group of municipalities to present Active Access in October and December 2009. Meeting with Chamonix Mont Blanc association representatives in December 2009. Other contacts are needed to understand the need and tackle the problems in a good way. The Vallée de l’Arve representative that shopkeepers were still very against forbidding cars in Chamonix centre. Phone contact and meeting are planned in June–July 2010. Meetings with Vita’Ville, CCI74 and Annecy municipality took place in January 2010 and March 2010. Discussion was made about the support Prioriterre could bring and topics of conference. Actions that will be engaged within the next 2 years: 2010/2011: Prioriterre’s proposition is to make different interventions/conferences with VTV members on energy savings in shops and on corrective actions first. Then face to face meetings or project can be developed with the members interested. April 2010: first conference on energy and energy savings to members. In parallel, a study has been launched in 2010 by VTV (with a private consultancy cabinet) on the feasibility of a “fidelity mobility cards”: a fidelity card linked to soft mobility and with the partnership of a group of shopkeepers in an area. The results should be available at the end of 2010 and the next steps will be discussed in 2011 with Prioriterre as associated partners (Annecy City, CCI).
