Common use of SHORT CHANGE Clause in Contracts

SHORT CHANGE. If Company establishes a regular schedule by which a shift employee will have less than 16 hours off between shifts, the employee shall be paid overtime compensation for any time worked in the 16 hour interval following the end of his/her last preceding regular shift. If a schedule which provides for less than 16 hours off between shifts is established by agreement between Company and Union the within provision for the payment of overtime compensation shall not apply. (Amended 1-1-91)
