Short Interval Through Pay. Where an interval of ½ hour or less exists between 2 pieces of work, the operator shall be paid straight through the interval and the 2 assigned pieces of work shall be regarded as a single piece of work, except that an emergency call-out from home occurring during the ½ hour period shall constitute a separate piece of work from the work performed previous to the call-out.
