Short Term Disability Application. The employee may apply for benefits under the Short-Term Disability Plan as described in Article 8 with respect to the day or days of leave taken under 12.2.2. All the terms of Article 8.1.9, Short-Term Disability Plan, shall apply to the period of leave as if such period was an illness of the employee.
