Sick Leave Conversion Upon Separation. If an employee with less than twenty‐five (25) years of service resigns from service in good standing, that employee shall convert unused sick leave to severance pay at a fifty percent (50%) rate. If an employee with twenty‐five (25) or more years but less than thirty (30) years of service resigns from service in good standing, that employee shall convert unused sick leave at a seventy percent (70%) rate. If an employee with thirty (30) or more years of service resigns from service in good standing, that employee shall convert unused sick leave at an eighty percent (80%) rate.
