Single Audit Principle. 8.1 In line with the single audit principle, UNHCR shall be audited solely in accordance with the UN Financial Regulations and the UNHCR Financial Rules. All financial transactions and related activities covered by the UN Financial Regulations and the UNHCR Financial Rules shall be subject to audit by internal auditors and the United Nations Board of Auditors.
