Common use of SIP Session Clause in Contracts

SIP Session. SIP Services are provided to you in units known as sessions. Each SIP Session is the IP equivalent of a PRI voice channel and represents a virtual connection between your location and the PSTN. Rogers’ SIP Services allow you to purchase the number of SIP Sessions required to meet your voice calling needs. You may decrease or increase the number of SIP Sessions that you purchase from Rogers over the course of the Service Term for SIP Services, but a decrease below any minimum number of SIP Sessions set out in your Agreement may result in Termination Fees.

Each SIP Session is the IP equivalent of a PRI voice channel and represents a virtual connection between your location phone system and the PSTN. Rogers’ SIP Trunking Services allow you to purchase the number of SIP Sessions required you require to meet your voice calling needs. You may decrease or increase the number of SIP Sessions that you purchase from Rogers over the course of the Initial Service Term for SIP Trunking Services, but a decrease below any minimum number of Minimum Commitment for SIP Sessions set out in your the Agreement may result in Termination Fees.
