Common use of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Clause in Contracts

Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. 8.1 Providers must have arrangements in place to support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). These arrangements should include a clear approach to identifying and responding to SEND. 8.2 Providers must adhere to the ‘Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage’ (April 2017) and must: 8.3 Providers should utilise Sunderland’s Local Offer, Early Years Inclusion Fund and Disability Access Fund (DAF) to deliver effective support, whilst making information available about their SEND offer to parents. 8.4 A range of support and advice can be sought for parents and providers through Sunderland’s Local Offer by following the link: xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xx.xx. Providers must submit and keep their Local Offer information up to date.
