Special Inspections. i. CONSULTANT shall furnish the materials testing and special inspections required to be performed for the Project. Special Inspection and materials testing includes, but is not limited to: 1) Soils testing for HazMat compliance 2) Soils compaction and relevant testing 3) Asphalt compaction and relevant testing 4) Concrete sampling and testing 5) Structural steel welding 6) Coating inspection 7) Electrical inspection 8) Special inspections as listed in the project specific design drawings and specs. ii. CONSULTANT shall schedule and coordinate the material testing services and have responsibility for the specialty inspections and testing services.
