Common use of Specialized Equipment Clause in Contracts

Specialized Equipment. When the Employer requires specialized equipment that is not available in the jurisdiction and such equipment must be brought in from another jurisdiction and a condition of rental is that the lessor must supply the driver, the Union agrees that such driver may be used provided he/she is a member in good standing of a Teamsters' Local Union. In that event, he/she may be employed subject to the wages and conditions of his/her own Local Union.
