Common use of Sponsoring Institution Clause in Contracts

Sponsoring Institution. If a transfer occurs after a payment(s) has been made to the original Sponsoring Institution, the return of funds to LLS must be pro rata, that is the proportion of the total payment that corresponds precisely to the effective date of transfer. If for any reason, funds are expended in excess of the pro rata apportionment, it will be the responsibility of the original Sponsoring Institution to make restitution to LLS in the event of transfer or premature termination of the Grant.
