Spouse and Dependent. This plan, available to individuals covered by the Basic Plan, provides term insurance for an employee's lawful spouse and/or dependents.
(a) Schedule I. The spouse is insured for $10,000; dependents are insured for $5,000 each.
Spouse and Dependent. Where a surviving spouse and dependents of a deceased em- ployee are not covered by such plans by reason of their own employment, the Company will extend the coverage under Medi- cal-Surgical Plan, the Extended Health Benefit Plan and the Dental Plan for a period of six months following the death.
