Staff Screening and Hiring. DOE shall recruit, screen, hire, train, and supervise appropriately qualified staff to provide Program Services, in accordance with the following: a) DOE shall screen the backgrounds of all prospective staff members before hiring or retaining the same, whether paid or unpaid, as follows: i) Criminal conviction history, including the facts and circumstances concerning the conduct which formed the basis for any criminal convictions, but with care taken to comply with the New York City Fair Chance Act; Section

i) Criminal conviction history, including the facts and circumstances concerning the conduct which formed the basis for any criminal convictions, but with care taken to comply with the New York City Fair Chance Act; Section
