Staff Selection and Assignment. Each principal will be given the opportunity to make a recommendation regarding each staff member’s assignment when possible. Each principal shall have the right to participate in the selection of those District employees who are to be assigned in federal or specially funded (i.e. special education) programs within his/her unit. A reasonable effort, which shall mean at least an attempted contact via email and phone, will be made to contact the principal when the principal is not at his/her duty station.
