Staff Surplus Situation. 4.3.1 A surplus staffing situation exists when the Secretary or delegated nominee requires a reduction in the number of permanent employees or permanent employees can no longer be employed in their current positions including any situation due to any of the circumstances referred to in clause 4.5. 4.3.2 The Ministry will advise NZEI Te Riu Roa as to the names and positions of potentially affected staff who are known NZEI Te Riu Roa members.
