Standard Conditions for Payment of Benefits. (1) In accordance with applicable legislation, the privacy of a sworn member’s medical information shall be protected at all times. (2) The Committee reserves the right to refuse, withdraw or amend benefits accorded to a sworn member. In the following examples, (but not limited to those examples), the employee will not be entitled to benefits and, if in receipt of benefits, those benefits shall be withdrawn: (a) does not maintain a reasonable level of contact with the Service to the satisfaction of the Committee. “Reasonable level of Contact” shall mean at least weekly telephone contact initiated by the member to a person nominated by the Service along with timely provision of all medical certificates and Doctors reports. Provided that, in appropriate circumstances and when approved by the Committee, such contact may be maintained indirectly through another nominated contact person;
