Common use of STANDARDS OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICE Clause in Contracts

STANDARDS OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICE. The work and/or services to be provided and/or performed by the CONSULTANT and by any Sub-Consultants and/or SubContractors engaged by the CONSULTANT as set forth in the Scope of Professional Services, Exhibit "A", shall be done in accordance with the generally accepted standards of professional practice and in accordance with the laws, rules, regulations, ordinances, codes, policies, standards or other guidelines issued by those governmental agencies which have jurisdiction over all or a portion of this project and which are in effect at the time the COUNTY approves this Agreement, or which may subsequently be changed or revised. Any subsequent change or revision to such laws, rules, regulations, ordinances, codes, policies, standards or other guidelines which requires the CONSULTANT to provide and/or perform work and/or services which are significantly different from that set forth in the Scope of Professional Services, Exhibit "A", shall serve as a basis for the COUNTY to consider the development and issuance of a Change Order to provide for a change to, or Additional Services to the services set forth in the Agreement.
