State Employment Non-Discrimination Requirements. In accordance with Michigan 1976 Public Act 453 and 1976 Public Act 220, the Contractor covenants not to discriminate against an employee or applicant for employment with respect to hire, tenure, terms, conditions, or privileges of employment, or a matter directly or indirectly related to employment because of race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, height, weight, marital status, or a disability that is unrelated to the individual’s ability to perform the duties of a particular job or position and to require a similar covenant on the part of any subcontractor employed in the performance of this Agreement. Breach of this covenant may be regarded as a material breach of this Agreement.
