Common use of State Law Notifications Clause in Contracts

State Law Notifications. The client certifies that before ordering a Report from the Identify Check, it shall also provide any necessary notifications under applicable state law to the Consumer. The client understands that various states, including, but not limited to, California, Minnesota, Oklahoma, New York, Massachusetts, and Washington require that specific information be communicated to the Consumer under certain circumstances. The client also understands that certain states, such as California, Oklahoma, and Minnesota, require that applicants/employees be afforded a checkbox to allow them to indicate that they would like a copy of any report received by the Client. The client agrees that it will work with experienced legal counsel as appropriate to ensure that all applicable requirements are accounted for.
